Clif Triplett - COO
Clif Triplett is a proven executive in process standardization and optimization. Most notable was his selection to standardize General Motors’ manufacturing and quality processes. At the time, GM had nearly 600 manufacturing plants, each with its own plant manager, manufacturing engineer, and independent IT team. Plants competed with one another. His charter as one of the first external executive hires to GM was to standardize all processes and technology.
A similar challenge was given to him at Motorola, where he was asked to form a customer-centric Global Services Business unit. Again, he was asked to standardize service delivery processes and optimize performance. The first-year results brought over $200M in increased profitability.
At Baker Hughes, he was asked to assist the company in moving from a product-centric to a customer-centric service company, driving change to the business operating model.
Another significant challenge was to transform cybersecurity practices for the US government under the Obama Administration as the Presidential Executive Fellow for Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
Currently, he is leading the transformation strategy for the US Government’s IT infrastructure in preparation for AI-enabled process automation.
